Explain why you chose your blog’s title and what it means to you?
The eye, of the human senses, is the most important body part to make photographs.
And the photographer’s eye remains but an eye if and when his own photography are hidden from public view; but when it is shared and the world begins to view his “recreation,” that eye becomes an “eye of a thousand and one.”
“Eye of 1,001″ is a photoblog-reproduction of the dream I had in my sleep.
A dream of a book of photographs being handed to me by an artist-singer-songwriter.
Each photograph in the dream book has a corresponding caption of either poetry, prose or prose-poetry.
Thus, this blog is created, inspired by that dream.
All the captions are written according to the mind, heart and soul of the photo-blogger-instrument as he takes a look at the photographs he himself snapped.
“A good picture is equivalent to a good deed.” -Vincent van Gogh.

I remember this picture.
Yes, seeker. Thank you. Glad I am able to re-use it after pulling it out from this blog.
Pardon my memory. The above photo is used in “The Dream and the Poem” page of this blog; and only now do I use it in the blog-post.
